I started practicing law in 1997, as a litigator, representing individuals, corporations and financial institutions. Over the past 20 years my practice has focused on family law issues.

Having represented clients through the litigation process, I am of the  belief that families are better served by staying out of court. Our courts are short on available time, have a limited scope of solutions. Accordingly, after spending more time and money than you wanted to, the solution you have may not work and both sides are finacially and emotionally spent. 

Alternatives such as mediation or collaborative divorce, are voluntary processes in which you can tailor solutions to fit your, and your family’s, unique needs without depleting your financial resources or inflicting further emotional trauma.  These processes are private and do not require filing personal financial documents with the courts.

To use either mediation or a collaborative process you need a desire to find a solution and a commitment to full disclosure.

My objective,  is to provide you with the candid advice, practical options and experienced guidance needed for you to effectively navigate and resolve your family's legal issues.
