About

Angelina Macri’

I started my practice of law in 1997 by representing clients with civil and corporate conflicts. Over the past 23 years, I’ve had the privilege of representing individuals and corporations in Ontario’s courtrooms from Ajax to Hamilton and, from Toronto to Barrie.

Over time my practice has increasingly focused on family issues, from cohabitation and marriage, to separation and divorce, to powers of attorney and wills.

All families are complex and uniquely organized structures of competing values, goals and desires. At various points in family relationships, it can become necessary to seek assistance whether for a co-habitation agreement, a marriage contract, separation, divorce or simply to ensure the transfer of assets to the next generation. In each case, creative solutions tailored to unique needs are more likely to be found by working in a collaborative setting.

I believe that families can be better served by having access to alternative options to resolve their differences efficiently, effectively and without having to deplete all their financial and emotional resources. It is this conviction, which led me to pursue formal training in mediation and in collaborative negotiation. As a trained collaborative lawyer and accredited mediator, I can offer my clients alternative means to best achieve their objectives.

My objective, whether as your mediator or your lawyer, is to provide you with the candid advice, practical options and experienced guidance you need to effectively navigate and resolve your family issues.

I look forward to working with you.
